Ahmedabad StadiArena Environmental Award

The Arena by TransStadia has just been awarded India’s Green Building Councils Gold rating.

The complex incorporates the World’s first StadiArena and is a state-of-the-art multi-purpose, multi-sport and social involvement infrastructure in the city of Ahmedabad, India.

The project was awarded under a pioneering and landmark Public Private Partnership (PPP) to the company for building sports infrastructure. This is the first arena in India to combine world-class sporting infrastructure for over a dozen anchor sports coupled with sport, leisure, wellness and entertainment facilities.

As well as the 47,000 sqft StadiArena, the project includes a 20,000-seater FIFA Standard Football Stadium, Indoor multi-purpose arena suitable for 10 sports, Sports Academy, Sports Science & Rehab Facility, Sports Club, Banqueting, Dining and Retail areas.
